Wildlife*
*Wildlife is called “wild” for a reason and specific wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. Southeast Alaska/Yukon have large healthy populations of eagles and bears and so the opportunities for finding these specific species in the wild are greater then other species who are more elusive or nocturnal. For this reason the tour/workshop offers a sub-tour visit to Kroschels Wildlife center which provides a caring home for some of these more challenging wildlife to find “in the wild” such as Lynx, Wolverines, Foxes and Wolfs.
